In Albuera, Leyte, a tragic accident occurred involving an 18-year-old female cyclist, Sydney Bismonte. While riding her bicycle along the National Highway, she was hit head-on by a speeding Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV).
The SUV was reportedly attempting to overtake another vehicle and collided with Sydney, who was in the opposite lane of the highway.
